Grow your digital skills: Digital advertising with Google Arts & Culture
Are you looking to get started with digital advertising? Would you like to know how to reach a wider audience online? The Digital Culture Network has teamed up with Google Arts & Culture for this session which explains how you can take advantage of social, search and display advertising to extend the reach of your organisation.
A Google Digital Garage expert will guide you through how to get set up with search advertising and show you how to get maximum impact from your social media campaigns. The session will cover best practice for search engine marketing and display advertising, including how to set up campaigns in Google Ads and the importance of keywords and copy. You will also explore the difference between organic and paid ads on social media and how you can use analytics to help choose the best platforms to reach your audiences. This will be followed by break-out conversations, allowing you to connect with your peers and further discuss digital advertising goals.

Get started with digital advertising
Digital advertising can help your business find new customers online. Apply or expand your digital advertising channels with this course. Learn about search, social and display advertising, and the different ways these channels can support your digital marketing strategy.
In this session you will learn:
- What is search advertising, and how to get started
- Different approaches to social media advertising
- How you can use display advertising in a campaign
Participants will take part in smaller discussion groups to explore a digital advertising topic inspired by questions asked during the registration process. With facilitation by the Digital Culture Network and Google teams, you will be given the opportunity to connect with your peers through sharing experiences, knowledge and ideas.

What level is it?
This event is an introduction to digital advertising and assumes little to no prior knowledge or experience.
Can I book a place?
This webinar is presented as part of a funded programme for arts and cultural organisations. Free places are available for anyone who works with or for a publicly funded arts and cultural organisation and for those currently in receipt of or usually eligible for Arts Council funding.
To ensure as many organisations can join us as possible, we ask that a maximum of two people per organisation join us. Sold out? Please add yourself to the waiting list.
