Grow your digital skills: Google Ad Grants and tools for charities with Google Arts & Culture
Are you registered as a charitable organisation or HMRC exempt charity in England? If you are, you could be eligible for a range of free support and resources, including Ad Grants, from Google for Nonprofits. The Digital Culture Network has teamed up with Google Arts & Culture for this session to help you understand how to access Google for Nonprofits resources and how to use them to maximise reach and create effective free advertising campaigns.
A Google Digital Garage trainer will show step-by-step how to set up your free Google Nonprofits account. They’ll outline all the resources available, explain how to access Ad Grants, and share tips for producing ads that help you reach your goals. This will be followed by an extended Q&A session with the trainer and our Tech Champions.

- Information on how to access free support from the Digital Culture Network’s nine Tech Champions
- Highlights from inspirational Google Arts & Culture programmes around the world and details on how to become a partner.
Please note: This session will be most useful for charitable organisations eligible for Google Nonprofits. Please check the eligibility criteria before booking your ticket – you can do this here.

Set Up and Grow Your Charity Online
Google for Nonprofits provides charities with a range of resources to help you spread the word about your nonprofit’s mission, engage new supporters, and fundraise online.
During this session, you’ll discover the range of Google for Nonprofits resources available and how you can set up your free account. You’ll also learn how to use Ad Grants to achieve your nonprofit’s goals and helpful tips for creating effective Ad campaigns to achieve real results.

- How to access Google Ad Grants
- How to maximise your impact with Ad Grants
Google for Nonprofits surgery
Some of you may have already begun the process of applying or getting approved for Google for Nonprofits and are keen to start using Ad Grants. We have set aside some time for you to ask any questions about the application process or setting up and using Ad Grants. Please note: The Digital Garage trainer cannot confirm whether your organisation is eligible for Google for Nonprofits.

What level is it?
Beginners – The course assumes no prior knowledge or experience of creating videos on YouTube.
Can I book a place?
This webinar is presented as part of a funded programme for arts and cultural organisations. Free places are available for anyone who works with or for a publicly funded arts and cultural organisation and for those currently in receipt of or usually eligible for Arts Council funding.
