Grow your digital skills: Set up a successful online shop and explore Google Arts & Culture

An online shop can bring in additional income, whether as an extension of your physical shop or a standalone venture. It offers your existing customers the convenience of shopping 24/7 and provides opportunities for you to reach and engage new audiences and introduce them to your organisation, services and products.

The Digital Culture Network has teamed up with Google Arts & Culture to bring you this webinar where you’ll learn the steps you need to take to plan, set up and grow a successful online shop. This session will help you define what makes your organisation and products unique, and how to use that to inform your goals, grow your customer base and extend your reach.

Then a Google Digital Garage trainer will help you discover your unique selling point (USP) and outline how you can use it to plan and build an online shop. They’ll take you through the pros and cons of different online shop options, helping you understand which is best for you and will explain how to optimise your shop by considering the user journey and setting and measuring goals. This will be followed by an extended Q&A session with the trainer and the Digital Culture Network Tech Champions. There will also be inspiration and examples shared by Google Arts & Culture.

The webinar includes:

  • “Set Up your Online Shop” presented by the Google Digital Garage team
Extended Q+A with the Digital Culture Network and Google teams
Information on how to access free support from the Digital Culture Network’s Tech Champions
Highlights from inspirational Google Arts & Culture programmes around the world and details on how to become a partner.
