How to make sure your video content is loved and shared

Have you ever wondered why some pieces of content are more successful than others? Are you frustrated because your content doesn’t seem to find the audience it deserves?

Join Dean Shaw, the Digital Culture Network’s Tech Champion for Digital Content, as he breaks down myths and common misconceptions around producing successful video content. By understanding the structure of your content, what type of platforms will best show it off and what audiences have come to expect from those platforms, you will learn how to make your digital content stand out from the crowd.

In this one-hour webinar, you will learn:

  • Why not all social media platforms have the same audience type.
  • How understanding the structure of the video content will make it more appealing to your audience.
  • How small tweaks to titles, descriptions, hashtags and thumbnails can help you be discovered.
  • How to find your niche audience.
  • What tools the pros use to gain the advantage.

What level is it?

Beginner to intermediate – This session if for those who know how to make and/or edit digital content, but want to learn how to improve it’s reach.

Can I book a place?

This webinar is presented as part of a funded programme for arts and cultural organisations. Free places are available for anyone who works with or for a publicly funded arts and cultural organisation and for those currently in receipt of or usually eligible for Arts Council funding.

We would be very pleased to book a BSL interpreter upon request so please get in touch or request the booking at registration. We ask you give a minimum of 10 days notice where possible.

Can I ask questions?

Yes and we actively encourage it to shape the content. You can ask in advance on Twitter using the hashtag #DigitalCultureNetwork or message @ace_dcn.

Can I receive 1-2-1 support?

The Digital Culture Network is part of a funded programme for arts and cultural organisations. We have a team of 9 Tech Champions across the country, who can provide free 1-2-1 support in a range of areas including digital strategy development, websites, social media, data analytics, digital content creation, SEO and paid marketing, CRM, box office and ticketing systems and email marketing. This support is available for those currently funded by or usually eligible for Arts Council England funding. You can indicate whether you would like to be contacted by a Tech Champion as part of the sign-up process.
