You may have already seen us introduce Emily, our new Box Office, Ticketing and CRM Tech Champion, and Nicola our new Social Media Tech Champion in our monthly newsletter. For those who missed our newsletter, we would like to introduce the newest members of our team below.
Emily specialises in Box Office, Ticketing and CRM, and is based in our Leeds office. Coming from the heritage non-profit sector in the United States, Emily worked with a broad range of CRM solutions in her role as a fundraiser. From her time as a fundraiser, Emily understands how crucial good CRM use is to organisational capacity and financial health, and the necessity of robust but efficient reporting. She has always enjoyed providing 1-2-1 support in CRM use, so feels this role at the Digital Culture Network is such a great way to continue supporting those critical skills and the incredible work across the breadth of the creative and culture sector.
Emily also relocated to York in the autumn of 2020 for a postgraduate degree in the heritage sector, so is thrilled to be located in the Leeds office, supporting the Yorkshire region.
Nicola joins us as the Social Media Tech Champion, and is based in our Brighton office. Nicola has worked in social media and digital marketing for over a decade across the public and private sectors. Most recently she has been a freelance social media consultant working specifically with the arts and charities. Nicola has tons of experience in setting up and managing the technical side of social and wants to help demystify the backend of platforms so that you feel confident in using the tools available and know you’re getting the most out of your social budgets.
Nicola is passionate about using social media to listen to and understand your audience, which can help inform every part of your organisation. She believes that you don’t have to have the biggest of budgets to get the most out of your social media platforms, there’s a lot you can be doing with organic content.
The Digital Culture Network is here to support you and your organisation. Our Tech Champions can provide free 1-2-1 support to all creative and cultural individuals and organisations who are in receipt of, or eligible for, Arts Council England funding. If you need help or would like to chat with us about any of the advice we have covered above, please get in touch.
