The Digital Culture Awards are back!
The Digital Culture Awards celebrate digital excellence and innovation in the creative and cultural sector, and we’re excited to announce that entries for the next awards will open at noon on 11 September.
Since we announced our last group of winners in March 2023, the Digital Culture Network has had its busiest year ever – so we know firsthand you’ve all been working on some incredible digital projects and initiatives which would make perfect entries!
The categories for this year’s Digital Culture Awards are:
Digital Marketing – This category recognises outstanding digital marketing efforts in creativity and culture.
Digital Content – This category recognises the innovative use of digital technology to create and distribute creative and cultural content.
Using Data – This category recognises the innovative use of data collection and analysis to steer decision-making and drive impactful change.
Digital Inclusion – This category recognises the innovative use of digital technology to improve access to creativity and culture for diverse and representative audiences.
Digital Ambassador – This category recognises someone who uses digital technology or tools to create lasting and meaningful change.
If you need some inspiration or would like to know more about the projects entered in previous Digital Culture Awards, check out the Winner’s page.
That’s all we can share for now. More information will be announced over the summer.
The best way to keep up to date on all the awards updates is by signing up to our newsletter.
The Digital Culture Network has reached a major milestone! Since 2019, we’ve delivered one‑to‑one support to arts and cultural organisations and practitioners across England over 10,000 times.
As we near the end of 2025, we’re looking back at the digital skills that mattered most to the creative and cultural sector this year – spotlighting the Digital Culture Network resources that you loved the most. Look back at them, save them for later, or share with a colleague!
During Captioning Awareness Week (10-16 November), we caught up with Rachel Jele, Head of Advocacy and Engagement at Stagetext. She told us about the significance of Captioning Awareness Week and why theatre captioning and subtitles are so important for the creative and cultural sector, now more than ever.
