If you’re subscribed to our newsletter, last month you may have seen us introduce Ollie, our new Digital Marketing Tech Champion. Well we thought we’d take this chance in between newsletters to give you the low down on all three of our new starters.
Kath joins as our eCommerce Tech Champion, based in London. Kath has worked at a senior level in the world of retail, leading the online businesses at outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse and homeware brand Emma Bridgewater. During her time at Mountain Warehouse, Kath delivered considerable growth for the business through identifying opportunities to drive online traffic and overseeing a programme for ongoing optimisation and improvement to the online experience. In a freelance capacity, Kath has worked with a number of individual artists and community initiatives and enjoys using her technical and commercial experience to demystify all things digital for others.
Kath is also a practicing visual artist and is very excited to support arts organisations in their digital endeavours.
Jacqueline specialises in email marketing and is based in our Bristol office. Jacqueline started her career working in arts marketing and has worked for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, the South Bank Centre and the Barbican. Most recently she’s been working for the Royal Society, specialising in email marketing.
Jacqueline can help by offering advice and tactics for growing email contacts, email campaign planning, developing customer journeys, and ways to improve email response rates.
Ollie specialises in digital marketing and is based out of the Bristol office. Ollie started his career in music, co-founding a successful production studio called The Fold. He’s gone on to apply his skills in digital and product marketing to help grow several tech start-ups in a range of industries and consult for enterprise brands such as Sainsbury’s Group and Carnival.
Ollie has a holistic approach to digital marketing which means he can offer a problem solving solution at both a technical and a strategic level. Coming from a creative background, Ollie has learnt how to communicate effectively with creative individuals. He can help you recognise your strengths to best advantage and will collaborate with you to achieve your short and long-term goals.
The Digital Culture Network is here to support you and your organisation. Our Tech Champions can provide free 1-2-1 support to all arts and cultural organisations who are in receipt of, or eligible for, Arts Council England funding. If you need help or would like to chat with us about any of the advice we’ve covered above, please get in touch.
