Accessible by Design

Accessible by Design work with arts and cultural organisations to create accessible digital experiences that work for everyone. We consult on designing inclusive experiences, help find and fix accessibility issues through auditing against the web content accessibility guidelines. We also conduct inclusive usability studies to create user experiences that work for blind, visually impaired, d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent audiences. The name Accessible by Design stems from the belief that accessibility should consistently be considered from the outset of any work, as part of business as usual, rather than accessibility being treated as a feature, an add-on, or ‘patched-in’ retrospectively. We work to ensure that design, code, and content is accessible. We work closely with your team as well as your existing web agency, ticketing technology provider and other technology providers to cover all aspects of digital accessibility across all user touch points and communications. Partner for the Digital Inclusion category.
