Events round-up – May 2022

Read on to find out what we’ve been up to, where you can meet us and what’s coming up in our events schedule, as well as across the sector.

Where we’ve been

We were beyond excited to get out and about in the real world recently! Tech Champion Dean, along with 2 of our new team members –  Kath and Ollie – headed to London on 11 and 12 May for the Museum + Heritage Show. They loved getting to meet some of you in person and it warmed their hearts to see an in-person event so well attended!  If you missed them at the show but want to get in touch, drop us an email.

Thanks for joining us

On 17 May we invited Ren James, Head of Content and Web Projects at Splitpixel Creative – a creative website development agency – to present a session on the importance of website User Experience (UX). Tech Champion Dean hosted the session and skillfully managed one of the busiest live Q+A sessions we’ve ever had! Big thanks to Ren for her brilliant session, to the 39 of you who joined live and to Theatre Nation for volunteering their website for a live diagnostic.

The week before that, previous Tech Champion Haydn presented A beginner’s guide to building the perfect social media strategy to over 130 of you (our biggest turnout since Lockdown 3.0 in January 2021)! This session was rescheduled from February, so thanks to everyone who patiently waited an extra 2 months to watch it – you were an amazing audience with brilliant questions.

Head to our Knowledge Hub to watch these and all our previous webinar recordings.
