How I can help you
- Plan a new online store. I will help you to model the potential sales and consider the potential costs. We can look at which platforms and plugins would best suit you or your organisation.
- Improve your customer journey and grow online revenues. I will do a free audit of your online shop and identify opportunities for improving conversion and average-order-value, as well as encouraging repeat customers.
- Improve the profitability of your online shop. I can review your delivery pricing and costs; payment processing and other infrastructure costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop a trading plan for your online shop. I will help you to draw insight from your sales history and show you how you can use this to inform a forward-looking, trading plan.
- Use print-on-demand to develop online sales without requiring investment in physical stock. This is particularly exciting if you are a maker or organisation with an archive of potential material that you have the rights to use.
- Identify low-cost ways to drive revenue online, without committing to a full online shop! This is really useful for individuals and smaller organisations.
Where I’ve come from
I’ve worked at a senior level in commercial retail, leading the online business at outdoor retailer Mountain Warehouse and homeware brand Emma Bridgewater. In my time at Mountain Warehouse I delivered considerable growth for the business through identifying opportunities to drive online traffic, overseeing a programme of ongoing optimisation and improvement to the online experience and opening up opportunities for international business. While at Emma Bridgewater I lead and delivered a full re-platform and migration onto a Shopify platform. In both roles I was also fully involved in the logistical considerations ensuring warehouse, couriers and customer service operations worked smoothly.
In a freelance capacity I’ve worked with a number of individual artists and community initiatives and enjoy using my technical and commercial experience to demystify all things digital for others. I’m also a practicing visual artist myself and am excited to support arts organisations in their digital endeavours.
