Where have you come from?
Before joining the Digital Culture Network, I had a broad-reaching career in contract, consumer services and large-scale, remote team management. I worked offshore with Carnival UK where no two days are the same and creative solutions are the order of the day, every day. Managing large and diverse teams takes on a whole new dimension when nobody gets to go home at the end of their working day, as a manager I was often also a parent, a friend and a confidante. Most recently I led a national team of Operations Managers at Q-Park in the delivery of complex NHS contracts.
I am a constant cheerleader for empowerment and inclusivity in the workplace. I was a founding board member of Costco Wholesale UK’s Journeys, an employee community that offers employees opportunities to succeed through education and mentoring. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone thrive on their chosen path.
