Digital Inclusion celebrates an organisations’ innovative use of digital technology to improve access to creativity and culture for diverse and representative audiences.
The Shortlist of this category was decided by our expert Judge – Andrew Miller, Cultural Consultant, Broadcaster and Disability Champion – and the Winner was decided by public vote.
Category Sponsor, Accessible by Design, kindly offered free Accessible Digital Content training for the Shortlist, and the Winner will will receive a free snapshot access survey of their website.
The Winner
Sense Charity – Moving Portraits: a dancefilm accessible for everyone
Moving Portraits captures six portraits from dancers who are deafblind and/or are living with complex disabilities, who were invited to share their lived experiences through dance. By combining cinematography, audio description & vibrational technology, Sense have created a truly inclusive dance film which can be experienced through sight, touch and sound.
